Experience, quality and success distinguish MEGGLE which can look back on more than 100 years of company history. Founded in 1887 as a small dairy in Wasserburg near Munich, the company has become a global player and is one of the biggest and best-known producers of dairy
products in Europe. The group has more than 1,800 employees worldwide in locations in Europe, Japan, North and South America, with a group turnover of approx. EUR 600 million. In order to respond flexibly to the manyfold challenges of the markets, the MEGGLE Holding AG is divided into efficient units: company headquarters, Molkerei MEGGLE Wasserburg GmbH & Co. KG (with the Consumer Products & Foodservice as well as the Business Groups: Food Ingredients, Excipients & Technology and Feed), the MEGGLE International and MEGGLE Eastern Europe, which acts successfully in the emerging Eastern European economies.
Bound by tradition! As we favour continuity this applies to our management as well: the supervisory board is chaired by Toni MEGGLE; Sil van der Ploeg, who is chairman of the board and who acts for more than 20 years in the company.
